I am currently a game designer, mulitmedia artist and programmer at my own studio in CT. We do graphic design, interactive, games and motion graphics work for clients such as ESPN, Heineken/Dos Equis, Hot Tamales, 2K Sports and more.
As much as I enjoy design work, I am still chasing my dream of drawing and painting sci-fi and horror all day, everyday. You can try and tell yourself that commercial art is art but in most cases it just doesn't qualify. Its not personal or emotional. We are hired to pimp someone else's products or services. Not that there's anything wrong with that : ) |
